Putoline is a manufacturer of, among other things, motor oil specifically suitable for motorcycles. Special requirements are placed on motorcycle oil for motorcycles. The use is different from a car and you can also think of the wet clutch that motorcycles have. If you use normal oil for this, there is a much greater chance that your clutch will slip prematurely. Putoline adds special additives to its oil to prevent this. In short, high quality oil that keeps your motorcycle in top condition. Semi-synthetic oil is fine for most motorcycles (Sport 4). Are extreme demands placed on the motorcycle? It is advisable to take the full synthetic oil. Via the oil product selector (see at the very bottom) you can possibly find the right motor oil for your motorcycle.

Change oil

Changing the oil in your motorcycle block is a job that you can easily do yourself. However, it can sometimes be quite a bit of work and that depends on where the drain plug is (and oil filter). It is also highly recommended to change the oil filter in addition to changing the motorcycle oil. This also applies to a new seal for your drain plug. In addition, make sure that you collect the oil and hand it over at the environmental station. This also applies to your oil filter. Both of these do not belong to the normal waste.

It's not worth it. The one I had was defective. Both said there was no dot 4 through it, which caused pressure to build up and the tube to fall off, covering everything. Snakes were also very short for beauty. All in all, just buying a transparent tube of half a meter would be more useful. Response from mPartz: The mechanical part works with a fairly strong spring that presses against the ball. This is also necessary because the brake pump puts a lot of pressure. The arrow on the bleeder must point away from the brake caliper. It is important to place the hose sufficiently over the bleed nipple and use the clamps supplied. This prevents the vent hose from popping off.

Excellent oil, 4 liters is JUST enough (right at the top of the red circle) so you can fill in the entire can. If you want some reserves on hand, you should order this with your BMW R1250gs

Yes, normal DOT4, bleeder set works very fine and well, no more fiddling with constantly closing the nipple.

Had problems with my F800GT. Engine had a too lean mixture/received too little fuel at operating temperature (85grC) Stalled while driving when braking on the motorcycle (gas tight) and was then difficult to start. Startable again after some cooling down. After CAN-bus reading everything seemed OK electronically. There was also no error message from the motorcycle management system. Conclusion; problem lies with injection (injectors do not open properly). Nothing ventured, nothing gained. Bottle of Fuel Inject and valve cleaner added to 15litre petrol and after about 25km all problems have disappeared for good!! The injection system is therefore quite sensitive to contamination. Now keep a bottle on hand. Recommended!
