Tyre Repairkit with compressor for motorcycle

The productdescription on our webshop has been automatically translated. We apologize for any errors. You can always ask us questions in English.

Tire repair kit for the motorcycle with compressor. A flat tire can bring an abrupt end to your tour or motorcycle weekend. With this motorcycle tire repair kit you can easily repair a hole in your motorcycle tire and refill your tire with the mini compressor. We have opted for a complete set with handy packaging, so that this repair set is easy to store under your buddy. This set is also a lot more favorable than, for example, preventive leakage products such as RideOn (Ride On). The average chance of a flat tire is 1 in 150,000 km. This repair kit will last for years and can also be used when buying another motorcycle. Products such as RideOn are injected into the tire and costs ? 50.00 for 2 tires at a time. If you take an average life of 10,000 km per tire, this means that you have ? 750 in costs (even more expensive if you buy another motorcycle in between). In addition, you do not want to continue driving with a nail in the tire, because it can cause more damage to the carcass if it remains for a longer period of time. In short, this repair kit is the most optimal for the purpose it is intended for (risk versus price).

The Mini Air Compressor from Stop & Go is a compact compressor and therefore ideal to take with you on the motorcycle. With the built-in pressure gauge, this Stop & Go Air Compressor is suitable for motorcycles, scooters and cars. The handy storage bag has a protective function and is convenient to take the compressor with you wherever you go.

The Stop & Go Mini Air Compressor comes with a cable with SAE alligator clips and a cable with a SAE cigarette connection.

Specifications air compressor:

  • Works on 12 Volt (6 Amp)
  • Air compressor pumps up to 3.4 bar (50 psi)
  • With built-in LED lighting
  • Cord with SAE - 12 Volt connection (useful even if you already have a connection to your motorcycle from Optimate, for example)
  • Cord with alligator clips
  • Including sport needle, valve adapter and manual
  • Includes handy bag
  • Dimensions: 10 x 5 x 6 cm
  • Weight: 400 gram

The motorcycle tire repair kit contains:

  • 1x roughing tool to roughen and clean the hole
  • 1x tool to apply plugs
  • 14x plugs for emergency repairs
  • 1x cutting blade
  • Connection with clamps on the battery or via the DIN plug connection. You can also connect it to your Optimate connection (if you use that trickle charger).
  • 1x handy sturdy storage bag

Considerations:

  • It is advisable to bring small pliers to remove a nail or screw (usually this is in your repair kit of the motor itself).
  • The repair is an emergency repair. For a definitive repair it is advisable to have the motorcycle tire repaired professionally.

Tip: Create a shortcut on your smartphone to the YouTube video, so that you can watch it in the event of a breakdown. Is just as useful (maybe even easier) than reading the instruction.

Please note: the video is for illustration purposes.

Instruction use is simple:

  • Remove the nail / screw if it is still in the motorcycle tire (for example with pliers from your tool kit).
  • Roughen the hole with the tool (kind of spike) that is supplied (without the eyelet). Pull it up and down a number of times, so that there is a good hole in the motorcycle tire.
  • Remove 1 lace from the packaging (very sticky and provided with extra vulcanizing material, otherwise not dangerous)
  • Apply some extra vulcanizing glue to the lace
  • Put this in the eye of the second tool. Make sure the lace extends equally on both sides.
  • Push the lace through the band with the tool. Make sure that both ends stick out 1 to 2 cm.
  • Move the tool up and down for a moment and pull the tool back to get the lace out of the eyelet. This must be done by feeling as it is not visible. Make sure that it can be pulled back relatively easily (so don't pull the lace out again).
  • Cut off the ends of the lace (which are 1 to 2 cm). It is also not important if your lace sticks out a few mm (it will wear away automatically and you will not be bothered by it).
  • Place the tube on your valve and remove the inner part of the tube if necessary (you don't need it for motorcycle tires).
  • Turn the cartridge with the yellow sleeve on the other side without hesitation. Make sure you take the one with the case on as the cartridge gets very cold. Place the cover on the 2nd cartridge and then turn it on.
  • Your rear tire is now ready for use again. Please note that it is an emergency repair and a good repair or replacement of the tire is advisable at a later stage.
  • NEVER REPAIR A HOLE IN THE SIDE CHALLENGES OF THE TIRE (SO ONLY IN THE TRACK).
