Brembo

Brembo is the standard in terms of brake pads, brake discs, brake calipers, etc. Since 1961, Brembo develops and manufactures Brembo brake components. The company was originally established by CC component pads

CC ie Carbon Ceramic is a further development of the so-called organic pads. These pads have been prepared to have a good braking with a long lead time. These pads are ideal for touring bikes and choppers.

SA or SP component pads

The SA or SP component pads are sintered pads. Here, the SA brake pads suitable for the brake calipers on the front and the SP pads are suitable for the rear brake calipers. Gestinterde pads are actually the most common and gedaviseerde pads. They provide excellent braking capacity at a good life.These pads are mainly used for sportier driving. Think of sports bikes and naked bikes (which is now not inferior in terms of assets).

SD or SX component pads

Do you have an enduro, supermoto and off-road, then SD or SX advise pads. These are put together so that they have optimum braking in water, mud and sand. SD pads are more for the cross, however, use and SX are typically used for street use. Think of the Supermoto or if you have an enduro and mainly used it on the road.

Replacing the brake disc

Replacing a brake disc on your BMW is a job that can be done with little technical knowledge, but it must be done carefully since it concerns the brake on your motorcycle. Use the correct tools for this. In addition, it is VERY IMPORTANT that everything is properly tightened and tightened to the torques (Nm) specified by the manufacturer. So when in doubt, it is always advisable to have it installed at a motorcycle shop. The advice is to lubricate the screws with which the disc brake is fixed with something ceramic grease to prevent these screws from seizing.
